In his first interview since joining Drogheda United, Aaron Harper-Bailey lifts the lid on his early introduction to men's football and swapping Birmingham for rural Ireland.

Aaron Harper-Bailey signed for Drogheda United in August after his contract with West Bromwich Albion expired.

Aaron Harper-Bailey is a defender first. He certainly looks like one, his 6ft 4” frame looming large over almost anyone else in his orbit. He talks like one too. We caught up with the Birmingham-born centre-back after he made his home debut for Drogheda United as a substitute in the club’s record-breaking 9-0 victory over Wilton United last month.
