CAS appeal is Drogheda United's last resort as club cite 'harsh, unfair' UEFA decision
The club feel they have a strong case but that has not resulted in a positive outcome following months of talks and legal consultations with European football's governing body.
Drogheda United are facing down the barrel of becoming the first club to be expelled from UEFA competition due to multi-club ownership rules after UEFA ruled against their case to compete in the UEFA Conference League this summer.
With the draws for the first and second qualifying rounds now just four and five days away respectively, Drogheda United supporters were eagerly awaiting news of the decision on whether the Drogs would be allowed to play in the competition alongside sister club Silkeborg, also owned by Trivela.
