For the first time since Trivela's takeover of the club, Drogheda United are soon to benefit from the arrival of a Walsall player on loan at United Park, the already in-situ Evan Weir notwithstanding.
Drogheda United supporters are, well, united in the view that mid-season signings are a must and the expectation is that there will be arrivals next month. With Hayden Cann and Oisin Gallagher returning to Lincoln City after the game against Derry City at the Ryan McBride Brandywell on June 28, the squad will be further depleted by Evan Weir linking up with parent club Walsall for the first time.
