It started in May 2022 when Ryan Brennan headed in Dayle Rooney’s cross to hand Drogheda United a lead, and ultimately a victory, over champions Shamrock Rovers at United Park. Danny Mandroiu’s late sending off - and some last ditch defending too - helped see United through a match that totalled over 100 minutes.
