Qualification for Europe is “feasible” for Drogheda United but Kevin Doherty’s squad must prove they are capable of more than just occasional upsets against the league’s leading sides, Declan O’Brien says.

The club’s all-time leading goalscorer - who won a league title, FAI cup and two Setanta Cups in his first spell at the club - returned in 2012 to help the side qualify for Europe via a second place league finish and secure a League Cup victory, completing his clean sweep of domestic honours.
