We're getting in on the Fantasy LOI act. Have you signed up yet?

Everyone enjoys some friendly competition, right?
At the time of writing, 333 Drog fans have signed up to Fantasy LOI ahead of Friday night’s big kick-off at Richmond Park - just shy of the numbers of Derry City and Sligo Rovers supporters who have registered so far.
Unfortunately, Douglas James-Taylor’s thigh injury means he is currently the most transferred out player but he is sure to come back into players thoughts when he is once again available for selection.
According to the stats, Aaron-Harper Bailey is the most selected Drogheda United player so far - picked by 21% of players. James-Taylor, Conor Kane, James Bolger and Darragh Markey are the next most popular.
Only 0.7% of players have selected Zishim Bawa. That is somewhat surprising given he managed three goals in a struggling team in the first half of last season and with Walsall loanee James-Taylor unavailable for a few weeks, he might see more action than expected in the early weeks of the season.
Of United’s new signings, Elicha Ahui has proved the most popular with 6.2% of all players selecting the impressive right wing back. Clearly, news of his knee surgery and absence has not yet reached many and there may be some eyebrows raised and heads in hands around the country when the teamsheets start to come in on Friday night.
While the Fantasy LOI platform is certainly impressive and is a brilliant addition to the League of Ireland supporting experience, it lacks in-built data such as injuries and suspensions which means players have to do their own digging in that regard.
Regardless of that, we’re getting in on the act and have set up a Love Is The Drog league for subscribers and followers to join where you can compete with fellow United supporters alike.
The Love Is The Drog invite code is: tblm8578CH
Because we’re a generous bunch, we’ll give a free month subscription to the top performer each month - plus some other goodies - and at the end of the year, we’ll hand the overall champion a free annual subscription to Love Is The Drog plus some as-of-yet to be determined other prizes too.
How does that sound?
Feel free to share the invite code around to your Drogheda-supporting friends but remind them they’ll have to become a subscriber - either free or paid - to qualify for the prizes. If you’re reading this and you’re not a subscriber, you can play but you can’t win! Subscribe via the button below.
