Conor Kane knows what it’s like to be so close to the action, part of it all but isolated from the moment all the same. Suited and booted, he walked around the Aviva Stadium pitch on that Sunday afternoon in November 2022 with Shelbourne teammates. By this time, he was at least moving unaided.
