The rest of our Ben Boycott interview: Doherty contract, big spending in the LOI, women's football, fans forums, capitalising on football fortunes and much more
Love Is The Drog sat down with the Drogheda United owner and co-chairman earlier this month to discuss a whole range of topics.

Not long after returning to his Birmingham, Alabama base from a site visit to Trivela FC' in Togo’s capital Lomé, Love Is The Drog jumped on a Zoom call with a jet-lagged Drogheda United owner and co-chairman Benjamin Boycott to talk all things Drogs.
In articles previously published on our Substack, Boycott spoke at length about the growth of the League of Ireland, the potential for Drogheda and Silkeborg falling foul of UEFA’s multi-club ownership rules and the future of Drogheda United’s new stadium project. There are links to those stories at the bottom of this article.
Boycott was taking time from a brief pitstop on home soil before he took flight once more en route to Walsall and then Silkeborg with both clubs’ seasons reaching crucial points. There was no scheduled stop in Drogheda this time. Below, you can read what the Drogs owner had to say on a range of topics, including on subjects raised by you - our readers - on social media.
