A dressing room full of 18 and 19-year-old footballers might seem like one of the last places you would expect to see tears flowing, but it was almost the case on November 2 last.

Before taking to the field against St Patrick’s Athletic in their final match of the 2024 season - the league title already secured - senior members of the team took turns to address the squad in the temporary United Park dressing room, upstairs in the clubhouse. Captain Osaze Irhue and defender Manny Milongo were among the speakers.

So too, Killian Cailloce.
