At one point during our sitdown with Benjamin Boycott and Wesley Hill ahead of Drogheda United’s final league game of the season against Shelbourne, at that stage merely prospective new owners of the club, the interview was briefly interrupted by club director Conor Hoey who arrived to don the businessmen in claret-and-blue scarfs before they took their seats among the crowd of 2,180 packed into Weavers Park.
