What's Up Doc? Kev talks YouTube, the league's best atmosphere and Roxy, the Lord Mayor of Dublin's dog
The Drogheda United manager spoke to Love Is The Drog ahead of the start of the new league campaign, touching on a range of subjects including his latest squad building efforts.

Our conversation with Kevin Doherty, sat around a table in the Mansion House last Wednesday, was twice interrupted - once at the very start and then again towards the end.
Both interferences were brief and more than welcome. First, former Drogheda United manager Tim Clancy, approached with a broad grin and a word for yours truly. “Ask him about all the money he has,” he said with a wink, turning to his friend and former assistant as his smile widened further. “He’s loaded,” Clancy added, as he made a beeline for the exit.
The room was awash with members of the media and both players and managers from Premier Division clubs and the Cork City boss had just wrapped up a briefing with members of the press at an nearby table as Doherty settled in to speak to Love Is The Drog.
By the time our conversation was at an end, a second guest - gladly received - had joined us. Roxy - Lord Mayor Emma Blain’s dog - emerged from underneath the table and stationed herself between this interviewer and the United boss. The latter obliged Roxy with a pet and a tickle before she shuffled off again. “Adorable,” was Doherty’s instant reaction.
